Wow! The temperatures on December 21-23 were record-breaking cold.
NWS reported the second coldest day on record, with an average temperature of only -15 degrees Fahrenheit.
The community came out in force and we had our biggest fundraising push yet with over $1000 donated and spent. Over the three days we distributed tents, tarps, hot food, winter clothing, blankets, hand warmers, and heaters. Mornings were spent distributing food, checking in on our neighbors needs, and purchasing supplies. We then went back out until the early hours of the morning distributing gear and hot dinner.
